1. Services

Marlborough Farm Vets provides veterinary services, animal health advice, and related products to farming, lifestyle, and equine clients. All services are delivered with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with accepted veterinary standards in New Zealand.

2. Appointments & callouts

Appointments, farm visits, and emergency callouts are subject to availability. While we make every effort to meet requested times, Marlborough Farm Vets cannot guarantee specific appointment times due to the nature of veterinary work.

3. Fees & charges

Fees for services, treatments, and products are charged in accordance with our current pricing at the time of service. Additional costs may apply for after-hours callouts, emergency work, or specialised treatments.

4. Payment terms

Payment for all invoiced services and products is due by the 20th of the month following the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Marlborough Farm Vets reserves the right to:

  • Suspend services for overdue accounts

  • Charge reasonable costs associated with debt recovery

  • Require payment at the time of service for clients with overdue accounts

5. Products

All animal health products are supplied in accordance with New Zealand legislation and veterinary guidelines. Products are supplied for use only as directed. Returns or refunds are subject to statutory requirements and product condition.

6. Advice & information

Any advice provided by Marlborough Farm Vets is based on the information available at the time. Outcomes may vary depending on animal health, management practices, and environmental factors. Clients remain responsible for following advice correctly and monitoring animal health.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Marlborough Farm Vets is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, advice, or products. Nothing in these terms limits any rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

8. Privacy

We collect and use personal and farm information only for the purpose of providing veterinary services, invoicing, and client communication. Information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

9. Changes to terms

Marlborough Farm Vets may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website or upon request.
